Cortiva Institute's mission is to provide innovative and practical wellness and health education to its students. Learning at Cortiva Institute gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself, grow academically and professionally.

Collectively Cortiva Institute schools represent over 200 years of experience in massage therapy training. As a community of massage therapy schools, they bring compassion right into the classroom and make sure that the student understands as much as enjoy his lectures.

What time does it take to complete the course?

The massage therapy program takes 72 credit hours to complete. In average most students take about 12 months to complete it. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will receive a Diploma in Professional Massage Therapy. Actually, the Professional Massage Therapy program is comprised of 750 clock hours and the program can be completed in 9 months (3 quarters) or 12 months (4 quarters).

Convenient day and evening schedules are available at all of their 12 campuses nationwide. After going through this curiculum the student will be a competent massage therapist, prepared to take the National Certification Exam.

Is The School Accredited?

Cortiva schools are accredited by and/or members of various organizations. Here is a list of a few organizations that accredited the school:

  • Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET).

  • Arizona State Board for Private Post-Secondary Education.

  • National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)

  • Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

  • Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education

  • Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation.

How much does it cost to school at Cortiva?

There are 4 types of fees involved in schooling in Cortiva. The program tuition, the student fees, the cost involved with book materials and the cost of the massage equipment.

The cost of the program tuition is around $12 000 and that includes the first national or state recognized licensing exam and fees. Financialy aid is offered to those who qualify.

The student fees has to do with various school/classroom supplies, student liability insurance, graduation, administrative costs associated with student services and supplies. It costs around $500.

The book supplies cost around $500 too.

The students are also required to get a work table. That is a table package that includes a bloster and carrying case, foldable for transportation and storage. The student are allowed to take the table package along when they graduate from the program. The table package costs around $500.

In total one will need around $13 000 to get through the program.

Where is the school located?

The school has 12 different campuses located in 6 different states. You can always choose the most convienient one for you. There are appartments available around campus that the students can rent.

Does the school support graduate students?

Graduate placement is paramount to Cortiva, and they have a dedicated Career Services department dedicated to networking with employers to find the job that’s right for their graduates. Cortiva has an exclusive national job board with employers all over the country that are looking specifically for Coritva graduates
