School Description

The Southwest Institute of Healing Arts is located in Arizona. Its mission is to help students discover what they call their "Gifts & Grace". Not only that they are willing to help you get the best education in the field that you have chosen to study. How long does it take to complete the courses?

Each course has its length of study. Some of those courses have online option for those who can't attend the class and some other courses also have night class option for those who are busy working in the day time. So it really depends on the student and how fast he/she wants to finish the course.

That said to have a rough idea, it takes up to 1230 hours (which is about a year) to finish a degree program. It usually takes much less to finish a diploma program and even much less to get a certificate.

the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE)
the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists (NATH)
Yoga Alliance (a national education and support organization for yoga in the United States)
That is more than any school would ever dream of. Accreditation is definitely the last reason why somebody wouldn't want to go to SWIHA.

On average, Associate degrees cost the highest (between $13 500 to $18 500) followed by the diplomas (usually around $12 000) then the certificates cost around $3000 maximum. These costs are per year and each students is allowed to pay in installement. Financial aid is also available to those who qualify. Also they do have financial advisor to help the future student make the right decision as to how the payment is going to be made.

SWIHA is located not far from the Arizona State University. They are found in the heart of Tempe. The good thing about their location is that they have restaurants, coffee shops, public transit system within walking distance. They also have a train station not too far from the campus.

What about the school equipment?

There are equipments involved in the training and the students are required to pay the cost involved in those equipment in order to have access to them. The equipment items that are required depends on the course chosen by the student.

Do the school offer any support after the course is over?

SWIHA has put in place a full support center to assist their student not only in getting jobs but also building their own private businesses. All Alumini students are qualified to have access to that for life. At any time of their life they can always rely on that support center.
